This privacy policy explains how SIA “LeBens” processes personal data when you use the website https://lebens.lv/, contact us or order our products. We process data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Latvian law.

What data we process and why

Enquiries and communication

When you fill in a contact form, a price request or the roof calculator, e-mail or call us, we process your name, e-mail address, phone number, the content of your message and the project details you provide (for example, roof type and dimensions). Together with the form we also store the page it was sent from, the site language, your IP address and the approximate location (city and country) derived from the IP address.

Purpose — to answer your question and prepare an offer. Legal basis — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We process the IP address and location on the basis of our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — to prevent spam and abuse and to understand which region an enquiry comes from.

Orders and performance of contracts

If you order products, we process your or your company’s details, contact information, delivery address, order and payment information. Legal basis — performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and compliance with our legal obligations, such as accounting and tax requirements (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Website statistics and advertising

With your consent we use Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Pixel cookies to measure website traffic and ad performance (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time. See our cookie policy for details.

Website security

Our web server logs IP addresses, request times and browser information for technical and security purposes (legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Who receives the data

We do not sell your data. It may be received only by:

• our service providers acting on our behalf — website hosting and e-mail providers, an IP geolocation service (ip-api.com);
• Google Ireland Limited and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited — only if you have consented to statistics or marketing cookies;
• delivery partners and accounting service providers — to the extent necessary to fulfil an order;
• public authorities — where required by law.

Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (for example, to the USA), this is based on a European Commission adequacy decision (including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep data

• Enquiries and correspondence that do not lead to a contract — up to 3 years after the last contact.
• Contracts, invoices and related information — for the periods required by the Latvian Accounting Law and other legislation.
• Cookie consent records — 3 years; cookie lifetimes are listed in the cookie policy.

After these periods the data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• access your data and receive a copy;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• request erasure or restriction of processing;
• object to processing based on legitimate interests;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

To exercise your rights, write to lebens@lebens.lv. We will reply within one month. If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (www.dvi.gov.lv).

Data security

The website uses an encrypted HTTPS connection. Only authorised employees of SIA “LeBens” have access to enquiries and customer data.
